MEDIEVAL TOUR: Guiding tour of Castel del Monte, the castle built in the year 1240 a. D. by the Emperor Frederick II of Hohenstaufen. The castle is a unique piece of medieval military architecture, a successful blend of elements from classical antiquity, the Islamic Orient and north European Cistercian Gothic.UNESCO in the 1996 included Castel del Monte in the World Heritage List.

A WEEK IN APULIA (8 DAYS AND 7 NIGHTS)
Day 1:
In the evening arrival at the airport of Brindisi or Bari. You will be picked up by us and taken to the apartment. Welcome cocktail and appetizer. Overnight.
Day 2:
In the morning guided tour of Ostuni. Free lunch. In the afternoon first lesson of Italian language and dinner in a typical restaurant, based on regional specialities.
Day 3:
Guided tour of Lecce (or another tour). Back to Ostuni in the afternoon. Free evening
Day 4:
Free morning for shopping and optional tours. In the afternoon cooking Italian lesson with dinner.
Day 5:
In the morning guided tour of Itria Valley: Cisternino, Locorotondo e Martina Franca (or another tour).Back to Ostuni and in the afternoon the second Italian lesson. Dinner in a characteristic pizzeria, eating an authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Day 6:
In the morning guided tour of Grottaglie, visiting a traditional ceramic workshop (or another tour). Back to Ostuni and free dinner.
Day 7:
In the morning visit to the typical market town.The market is very cheap, and you can find here everything you need for your perfect Italian Style dinner: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits but also you can find clothes and everything for the house. In the afternoon the third Italian lesson and free dinner.
Day 8:
Free day to prepare baggages and transfer to the airport for departure.
